Last night's "30 Rock" was pretty good, but was especially notable for one big reason. I'm not talking about Liz Lemon's "lizaster" that she's found her "settling soul mate" in guest star Michael Sheen. Nor am I talking about the problems that Tracy Morgan's fidelity is causing his career.  

For starters, don't use a Bumpit. But she has some that she's kept quiet. For example, when she's busy with press, she leaves five days worth of makeup on her face.  

I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I'm a pretty highly trained expert on movies with banter and kissing in them. I'm not just talking about the ones you all know about, like When Harry Met Sally . I'm talking about the fact that I used to own I.Q. on VHS.

The acclaimed comedy "30 Rock," set at NBC's Rockefeller Plaza headquarters, finally weighed in last night on the deal by NBC's parent company, General Electric Co., to reduce its 80% stake in NBC to Philadelphia's Comcast Corp. In the episode, the fictional head of NBC, Jack Donaghy (played by Alec Baldwin), is dismayed that the media entity may be be sold to "Cabletown" and wonders about his future at the combined entity. A little over three months since Comcast agreed to buy a majority stake in NBC Universal from General Electric , the deal finally got the "30 Rock" treatment it was bound to get. The sitcom that gleefully skewers its corporate parent took on the sale of NBC in a slightly fictionalized form. In the world of Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy, the network was indeed sold by its current owner, the Sheinhardt Wig Company, to a Philadelphia-based cable company.
